How do I contact Insura?
WhatsApp or phone: +506 8876-6385. Email: fernando@insura.cr. Messages are answered in English or Spanish, usually the same business day. WhatsApp is the fastest channel, and it is also the practical one for sending property photographs and documents during quoting or a claim.
What information do you need to quote my property?
The property location, construction type, built area in square metres, estimated reconstruction value, and whether the home is rented to guests. For coastal properties, distance to the high tide line matters. With that, quotes across the market usually come back within a few business days.
Which areas do you serve?
All of Costa Rica, with a concentration on the Pacific Coast: Guanacaste (Tamarindo, Nosara, Flamingo, Papagayo) and Puntarenas (Jacó, Manuel Antonio, Uvita, Dominical), plus the Central Valley. Non-resident owners are served remotely by WhatsApp, phone and email.
Is there a charge for a consultation or quote?
No. Consultations and quotes are free, and no deposit is required. Payment is only processed once the policy is formally issued by the carrier. Broker remuneration comes from the insurer, so advice and claims advocacy add no cost to the policyholder.
