Fernando Cabada is a Costa Rican insurance broker licensed by SUGESE under license 21-1857, with more than a decade working in the Costa Rican insurance market. He advises property owners, expatriates and second-home owners along the Pacific Coast, and works in both English and Spanish.
What exactly is Insura?
Insura is Fernando Cabada's personal trade name — the brand under which he sells and services insurance. It is not a legal entity, not an insurance carrier, and not itself a licensed brokerage firm. The regulated licence to intermediate insurance belongs to Fernando Cabada as an individual.
Under which brokerage does Insura operate?
Essential Corredora de Seguros S.A., which holds SUGESE license SC-14-120. Essential provides the institutional backing, carrier appointments and compliance framework. Policies are issued by insurance carriers — INS and the licensed private insurers — and never by Insura or by the brokerage itself.
